15 years and counting a tribute to my best friend

There's a lot that can happen in 15 years.
15 years ago I moved to Grants Pass Oregon with my family in a fifth wheel trailer (not trailer trash like...it was a brand new one) and was enrolled in Redwood Elementary School... 'roadrunners...and proud to be' There I met Loni Evans...with her large pony tail, binders full of "information" on the boy she likes and a happy little smile. She took me and my tweety bird shirt and yellow tights under her wings. I honestly can't imagine my life without this woman. She's an amazing person and her and I have been through so much in life together and its only been 15 years.

15 years?! When I added this up in my head this morning I couldn't believe it. I've known her for such a long time. We've gone camping, boating, water tubing, slept over at eachother's house for a week straight every summer, shared laughs, shared cries, got mad at each other, picked each other up off the ground, and talked one another through hard times. She stood by me as I married my husband and proceeded to give a hilarious without intending to speech. She held my hand when I gave birth to my son. She's always a phone call away and ready to offer love and encouragement when I need it the most.

I love that you can see the Lord in her before anything else. She's one of the sweetest people I know. And today is her birthday so I thought I'd write up a little note about how great I think she is. We've been through a lot together and I look forward to going through more. From giving one another crazy hairstyles, to being transformed to "Iris and Margie" to painting on feet to marriages, college graduations, births and much more, I'd choose no one else to eperience all this with but her.

I love you Loni. Happy 25th Birthday!
(Oh look you're a quater of a century old today)
